There are many practical ways in which you can support our work - and they won't cost you a penny!
1. Shop online
If you shop for books, travel, insurance, flowers, music or anything else online, please use our webshop: www.buy.at/cambodiatrust
Every purchase earns us a commission - at no cost to you! So whenever you want to make an online purchase - for example, buying books from Amazon - shop via our webshop and the Cambodia Trust will benefit. Just visit www.buy.at/cambodiatrust - and pass the link on to all your friends and colleagues too!
You can also buy Cambodia Trust T-shirts, bags and other items in our online shop
2. Search with Everyclick
Did you know you can raise funds for our work every time you search the internet? Everyclick is a new internet search engine which has been set up to raise funds for charities. It’s a great way to generate income as it doesn’t cost us, or you, a penny to use!
It’s simple!
- Visit www.everyclick.com
- Register your details
- Choose the Cambodia Trust as your selected charity
- Make Everyclick your home page and use it every time you search the internet.
- Tell all your friends and colleagues to register and to select the Cambodia Trust as their chosen charity!
Businesses can also get involved - visit everyclick's corporate section
Every click can make a difference...Internet search engines are big business and Everyclick estimates that each person using their search engine can raise £12 a year for their chosen charity.
If every one of our supporters used Everyclick to raise funds for the Cambodia Trust, that would bring in tens of thousands of pounds for our work every year! With other funding sources drying up, this income could be vital to our work.
3. eBay for Charity
If you sell items on eBay, you can now donate a percentage of your sales to our work, thanks to MissionFish.
Simply select the Cambodia Trust and a percentage to donate, when you are putting an item up for sale. Once your item sells, you are paid by the buyer as usual.
MissionFish collects the donation, sends it to us and even sorts out the Gift Aid. For more information, visit www.missionfish.org.uk
4. Each One Counts
You can now do your bit for the environment and raise funds for our work at the same time!
Recycle your printer cartridges, laser toner cartridges and old mobile phones through Each One Counts and we’ll receive a donation for every recycled item. Visit EachOneCounts.co.uk to find out more…
5. Become our friend on facebook!
Friend-raising is almost as important as fund-raising! Join us on facebook, tell your friends about us and help to spread the word about our work.
6. Use an email signature
Use a signature on the emails you send out to your friends and colleagues. Here's an example:
A gift of £100 a month will provide an artificial limb for a landmine survivor in Cambodia. Mobility is the first step out of poverty. Step by step, we can make a difference www.cambodiatrust.org.uk
By adding this signature to all your outgoing emails, you can encourage people to visit our website and support our work. You could also ask your friends to add the signature at the end of their emails, which in turn would mean more people promoting our work, more people visiting our website and, hopefully, more people wanting to support us!
7. Put up posters and distribute leaflets
Ask at your school, workplace, church, doctor's surgery, gym, etc., for permission to display Cambodia Trust posters and leaflets. You can download posters and fliers by clicking on the links; or email office[at]cambodiatrust.org.uk if you would prefer us to send you copies by post.
