Everyclick makes a difference
Now you can raise funds for our work every time you search the internet. Everyclick.com is a new internet search engine which has been set up to raise funds for charities. It’s a great way to generate income as it doesn’t cost us, or you, a penny to use!
It’s simple!
- Visit www.everyclick.com
- Register your details
- Choose the Cambodia Trust as your selected charity
- Make everyclick.com your home page and use it every time you search the internet.
- Tell all your friends and colleagues to register and to select the Cambodia Trust as their chosen charity!
- Businesses can also get involved - visit everyclick's corporate section
Every click can make a difference...
Internet search engines are big business and everyclick estimates that each person using their search engine can raise £12 a year for their chosen charity.
If every one of our supporters used everyclick.com to raise funds for the Cambodia Trust, that would bring in an extra £42,000 for our work every year! With other funding sources drying up, this income could be vital to our work.

Donate via your payroll or tax return (UK)
UK employees can make tax-effective donations directly from their salaries, through a simple scheme called Payroll Giving.
You could help us by promoting Payroll Giving where you work, and encouraging your colleagues to donate to the Cambodia Trust.
For more information, download an Employee's Guide or Employer's Guide to Payroll Giving (PDF files).
If you are due a tax rebate, you can nominate the Cambodia Trust to receive these funds by using this code: WAQ87QG. Please email us if you would like help with this.

Leave a legacy of hope
Leaving a legacy to the Cambodia Trust is a wonderful way of ensuring that your support for our work can continue.
It is very important to make a Will, in order to look after your loved ones - and by including the Cambodia Trust in your Will, you can make a huge impact on our work.
In recent years, the Cambodia Trust has received two substantial legacies from supporters. Receiving these funds made the difference between suspending some of our services and keeping them open.
As supporter Peter Cork explains, “It is not morbid to think in such terms...I would like to think that when I leave this world, something may go back to Cambodia, that beautiful country I so much admired all those decades ago.”
Please email Pat Desborough or telephone 01844 214844 if you would like more information; or download a copy of our free Will-Making Guide.

A lasting tribute
If you have lost a loved one, you may wish to set up a tribute fund in their memory. This is exactly what Tim Mallett did after the sad loss of his wife, a long-time supporter of our work.
The Late Mrs Margaret Mallett Memorial Fund raised over £1,500. Tim explained, “This money is a small token given in memory of my wife, who loved life and cared for those less fortunate than herself. I trust you will use it well so that somehow, some of the spark of her existence will pass on to those she cared about.”
Other supporters, such as Elizabeth Birkby and the Stillwell Family, requested donations in lieu of flowers, after they lost their loved ones.
Please contact us if you would like help or advice on setting up a tribute. You can even set up an ‘In Memoriam’ fund online, at JustGiving.com - follow the link to ‘Create a fundraising page’ - or Bmycharity.com/cambodiatrust
It's better to give than to receive!
You could give someone a really special Christmas, birthday, wedding or anniversary gift this year - one which will make a lasting impact.
Just call our UK office Tel: +44 1844 214844 or email office@cambodiatrust.org.uk, tell us how much you would like to spend on your gift and who it's for, and we will do the rest! The recipient will receive a personalised letter/certificate telling them that you have made a contribution in their name, and explaining how the gift will make a real and lasting difference to someone's life in Cambodia.
- £100 provides a prosthetic limb or brace, improving mobility and providing dignity and the chance of self-sufficiency. Limbs wear out and need replacing regularly: every 6 months for growing children; every 1-2 years for adults.
- £75 provides a wheelchair.
- £30 provides a bicycle to help a disabled child to get to school. (The nearest school is often too far away for children who find it difficult to walk, so a bicycle for the child, or for the family, is a good way of enabling school attendance.)
- £20 pays for a repair to be made to a prosthetic limb or brace.
- £3 buys a child's school uniform.

You could also ask your friends and family to make donations instead of buying you presents for Christmas, your birthday, wedding or anniversary.
You
can set up your own birthday or anniversary fundraising page on
our partner website, www.JustGiving.com
Just follow the simple instructions to set up your page, then email all your friends and family to ask them to take a look. This free service enables you to securely collect credit and debit card donations from all over the world. Just Giving handles the payments, collects the Gift Aid and sends us the funds, helping to keep our administration costs low.
Your support can make a difference
Your contribution will be used to support our 3 physical rehabilitation centres and the Community-based Rehabilitation projects which are run from these centres. These areas of our work are the most difficult to fund.
Your donation will make a positive impact on someone's life.
Making a difference - our volunteers
All over the world, volunteers are making great contributions to our work - not just by fundraising but also by donating their time and skills. As a small organisation with limited resources, this help is really valuable to us! We’d like to say a big thank you to each and every person who gives their time and energy so generously. Here are just a few volunteer stories...
Craig St George is a web development expert from New Zealand who has recently done some technical work on our website, enabling us to securely share documents with our staff members across the world.
Sue Crow has set up an online donation service for the Cambodia Trust's supporter group in Australia, making it easier for Aussie donors to contribute to our work.
Photographers Simon Larbalestier, Susan Schulman and Andrew Smart have recently donated their wonderful images for use in our newsletters, annual reports and on our website. Having high quality images is a very important part of promoting our work, however professional photography can be expensive. Our talented volunteer photographers provide all their images to us completely free of charge. They also help to raise awareness of the ongoing need for our work by publishing and exhibiting their photographs.
